Create or Join a Team
Teams are the heart of Light The Night Walk - people working together to support blood cancer patients.
Company and Friends & Family teams raise funds and walk in their communities, carrying illuminated balloons -- white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of a life lost. Walkers also carry dedication banners that provide an opportunity to display a name or message, honoring or commemorating a family member or friend with cancer.
Friends & Family Team
When a family or friend is diagnosed with blood cancer, we want to do something to make a difference. Participating in Light The Night Walk is a positive and inspirational way to support or remember a family member or friend. Teams raise money to help fund research and patient services, and they celebrate and commemorate lives touched by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Light The Night Walk is a night of hope and inspiration. Friends and family can make a difference by following the suggestions below.

Corporate Partner Team
Large and small companies, businesses and organizations form teams and walk with us each year to raise funds for lifesaving cancer research and bring help and hope for people battling cancer.
Light The Night is also an opportunity for a company or organization to:
- Enhance employee morale
- Encourage teamwork
- Gain visibility for its products or services
- Generate goodwill in the community
Team membership is not limited to employees of a company. Actually, team participation is encouraged among employees' families, friends and neighbors. The magical and uplifting setting of Light The Night creates a fun, wholesome event that brings co-workers and their families together outside the office for the purpose of helping others.
It's simple difficult to organize a team and become a Team Captain. We provide all the materials and guidelines to ensure your success in building a Light The Night team. Corporate donations are encouraged and will be gratefully acknowledged. The majority of contributions will be generated by the fundraising efforts of your individual team members. Additionally, corporate matching gifts can enhance employee fundraising efforts.
