On an evening in December 2011, our longest tenured volunteer, Elaine Levinson, was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma. Her grandson, Mason, wants to show support to his "Mema" by continuting Haircuts for Heroes at this year's walk. Mason will be there on Oct. 12 to honor all cancer survivors. You, too, can be a part of Haircuts for Heroes! Shave your head at the walk or get a streak of color put in to honor your favorite survivor.
