Light The Night Walk in Illinois
The location of this Saturday's Chicago Light The Night Walk has changed!
Due to damaged ground area in Grant Park, the Chicago Park District has relocated our event to Arvey Field to ensure the safety of our walkers and provide a better participant experience. The event time is unchanged: 4:30-8:00pm. Parking and public transportation options remain the same.
Arvey Field is on the east side of Columbus, south of Lower Hutchinson Field; just across the street and south of the old Light The Night Walk location.
With Light The Night around the corner, we want to prepare you for a successful evening. Check out the FAQs below.
1. What time does the event start?
4:15 p.m. - The Remembrance Ceremony presented by Vitas.
4:30 p.m. - Festival grounds open.
Dusk (6:15 p.m.) - Walk begins.
8:00 p.m. Walk site closes.
2. Where do I turn in my offline donations (cash/checks)? Can I turn in money at the Walk?
All offline donations can be dropped off or mailed to our office. All checks can be made out to Light The Night or LLS. Please include a note or donation submission form to ensure your donations are credited correctly.
