Loden

We would like you to meet our brave son Loden.  On March 10, 2009, at only 3 ½ years old, Loden was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  It was a complete and total shock to hear that our baby has cancer!  This is a disease that children should never have to know about, and is news that parents should never have to hear.  In the months since his diagnoses, Loden has had countless spinal taps, blood transfusions, clinic visits, hospital stays and doses of chemotherapy ? in a wide variety of forms.  Through everything, Loden still has a smile on his face.  To beat this leukemia monster, Loden will endure three and a half years of chemotherapy.

One of the joys Loden has found through all of this has been the ?balloon walk?.  The idea that a bunch of people gather together with balloons to light up the night in honor of kids like Loden and adults who are battling leukemia, brings a smile to his face. 

Please join us for Light the Night this Fall.  The money raised goes for research to help find a cure, in addition to providing financial assistance for patients and their families in these times of struggle.  Together with your donations, we can find a cure and end blood cancer!
