2008 Iowa Walk Dates
The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk. Funds raised will support our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
All participants will walk carrying lighted balloons to celebrate and commemorate the lives touched by cancer - white for survivors and red for supporters (there is a suggested $25 fundraising minimum). Dedication banners provide an opportunity to dispay a name or message, honoring or commemorating a family member or friend with cancer.
Anyone can participate. Children, adults and seniors are all welcome. This is a casual walk with no fitness requirements. The walk is typically 1 - 1.5 miles in length.
Your participation will help save lives. Please join us in our fight against blood cancers as we "light the night" with hope and raise funds to find a cure.
