Thank you for your interest in becoming a 2010 Light The Night Walk volunteer!
Light The Night could not be possible without the hundreds of volunteers that donate their time and energy. We greatly appreciate our brave volunteers who came out to weather rain in 2010! Without your help, we would not be able to do what we do!
2010 Volunteer Opportunities with Light The Night:
Before Walks:
Corporate Volunteer Days: We will arrange a day for you and your co-workers to help with projects in our office and learn more about our mission.
Individual and Group Volunteer Opportunities: We will arrange a time for you and/or your group to help with projects. Tasks may consist of assembling battery packs or assisting with mailings and phone calls.
Night of Walks:
Bucks-Montco ? Details to Follow
Set up: Help with the set up and breakdown of tables, chairs and signs. Some heavy lifting required.
Check-in: Collect participant envelopes and distribute event bracelets.
Balloon Duty: On the night of the event, help the balloon vendor fill balloons with helium and distribute to participants.
Walk Route: Standing at various points along the route to direct and cheer on participants.
Food/Refreshments: Help organize and serve refreshments to participants before and after the event. Some heavy lifting required.
Clean up: Assist with collecting materials left after completion of walk.
With your help, we know that this year's Light The Night will be the best yet!
