Meet Our Executive Challenge Chair!
Christine Finley
Christine is our 2020 Executive Challenge Chair! But more importantly she is a shining light of inspiration to the Eastern PA Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Christine has been on one of the most challenging journey’s a person can be faced with for the past 19 months. Just before her 28th birthday Christine was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with a high relapse rate in the first two years.
That’s when Christine was introduced to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Light The Night. Christine knew that she wanted to help fundraise and inspire others, like her and beyond the cancer world by creating a Light The Night team, Fightin’ Fins.
During Christine’s cancer treatment - which included one bone marrow transplant, 11 rounds of chemo therapy, 6 bone marrow biopsies, and 120 nights in the hospital. She continually showed her incredible strengths not only with her cancer treatment but also leading the Fightin’ Fins, raising over $100,000 with her team for Light The Night and winning the 2019 Executive Challenge.
Christine is thrilled to say that she is in remission for the THIRD TIME! And will be continuing to inspire others and fundraise for the mission of LLS as the Executive Challenge Chair!
